Sen. Dr. Isaac Mwaura, Government Spokesperson

"The Government of Kenya has raised alarm over the growing misuse of technology to spread misinformation and disinformation, particularly on digital platforms. Advanced tools such as AI-generated content and deep fakes are increasingly being used to discredit the government and tarnish Kenya’s global reputation," Sen. Dr. Isaac Mwaura, Government Spokesperson Mwaura

While internal disputes are natural in any democracy, escalating them to the international stage has far-reaching consequences. Such actions jeopardize Kenya’s foreign relations, risk the welfare of Kenyans living abroad, and discourage vital investments needed for economic growth and job creation.Mwaura says the government is calling on all Kenyans to act with patriotism and responsibility, refraining from actions that could harm the nation’s image. Constructive dialogue remains the preferred approach for resolving domestic challenges while preserving Kenya’s dignity on the global stage. To our global partners, the Government of Kenya reaffirms its unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and mutual cooperation. Kenya will continue to address shared challenges while upholding constitutional values and international obligations, fostering a globally respected and united nation.Taifa Care Healthcare ReformsThe Taifa Care Program has registered over 17 million Kenyans, ensuring access to affordable and reliable healthcare services. Initiatives like the Jobs Majuu Program connect skilled Kenyans with international job opportunities. Furthermore, the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with the UAE is fostering sustainability, technology transfer, and investments in sectors like energy and ICT.Call to ActionThe Government of Kenya appeals to all citizens, organizations, and leaders to prioritize unity and progress.
