Speaking during the graduation marked at Micheal Joseph Center (MJC)  Top Safaricom Lead Gorvernance Personel & Partners of Safaricom Plc, the leading telecommunication company in East Africa, has announced the launch of Cohort 2 of its Connect Academy, a program aimed at equipping Kenya's youth with the skills needed to drive the country's digital agenda. The program, in partnership with the ICT Authority, is committed to expanding opportunities for young Kenyans and refining the curriculum to build a skilled workforce.

The Connect Academy is part of Safaricom's efforts to transform lives by connecting people to opportunities and information. With over 60 million customers across Kenya and Ethiopia, Safaricom is playing a critical role in supporting the society, with over 1.13 million jobs created directly and indirectly.
