This is not the first time we have witnessed such conduct, and it is part of an emerging and deeply troubling pattern in which violence, intimidation, and disorder are increasingly being normalized around political activity.
The association has called for the immediate intervention of the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) to investigate the incident, emphasizing that accountability must go beyond the officers on the ground to those who planned, authorized, or failed to stop the operation. "Justice must be real, visible, and uncompromising, the statement emphasized.
The association has also put the Cabinet Secretary for Interior, Kipchumba Murkomen, and the Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja, on notice, stating that they carry personal and institutional responsibility for the conduct of the National Police Service. Silence, delay, or vague statements will be read as approval," the statement warned.

The GEMA, and the public that they serve is not alone in this fight, and will defend them in court Hon, Dorine noted and strongly stood  to assure that the stone will not roll on the heads as they see and they will continue to defend on there treaties, Your voice and your vigilance are your strongest weapons against impunity, the statement read. Speak out. Record what you witness. Use your mobile phones responsibly to document violations. Evidence protects truth. Documentation restrains denial. Silence only empowers abuse.

The GEMA has made it clear that Kenya must not become a country where political violence is routine, gangs are legitimized, and accountability is optional. A church must remain a sanctuary. The Constitution must remain our shield. And justice must remain non-negotiable, the statement concluded.
