Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua Chairs Key NEDI Forum, Discusses Major Development Projects/Photo 

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua chaired a pivotal forum for the North and North Eastern Development Initiative (NEDI) at his official residence in Karen, Nairobi, on Monday morning. 

The forum brought together Cabinet Secretaries, senior state officials, and various stakeholders to discuss and advance the initiative's core projects.

NEDI, encompassing ten counties—Garissa, Isiolo, Lamu, Mandera, Marsabit, Samburu, Tana River, Turkana, Wajir, and West Pokot—focuses on transformative development through six major projects. Grid Solar Access Project for Underserved Counties: Aimed at expanding electricity access through solar power in remote areas.
