Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura has called upon all Kenyans to rally behind President William Ruto’s ambitious reform initiatives aimed at propelling the nation’s development. Speaking at a recent government briefing, Mwaura emphasized the administration’s focus on transformative reforms in housing, healthcare, and infrastructure as pivotal to Kenya’s future growth.

Mwaura highlighted the remarkable progress in the health sector, noting that over 861,020 Kenyans have already enrolled in the Social Health Fund. This milestone underscores significant strides in improving healthcare accessibility. Furthermore, a total of 9,772 health facilities, comprising 2,008 public and 7,785 private establishments, have been registered under the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC), enhancing the quality and reach of medical services across the country.

On the housing front, Mwaura showcased the government’s dedication to tackling Kenya’s housing deficit. To date, more than 100,000 housing units have been constructed, with plans for an additional 700,000 units, including 40,900 social housing units aimed at benefiting diverse communities nationwide.

Addressing recent discussions regarding the management of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and the reported involvement of Indian company Adani, Mwaura assured the public of the government’s commitment to transparency. He announced that a public sensitization program will be implemented to keep citizens informed about the developments and address any concerns.

“The transformation we aspire to achieve as a nation can only materialize through collective effort and unwavering support for President Ruto’s vision,” Mwaura asserted. “By coming together, we can build a better and more prosperous Kenya for all.
