Government Spokesperson Dr. Isaac Mwaura Highlights Key Achievements of President Ruto’s Administration

The Government Spokesperson, Dr. Isaac Mwaura, has lauded President William Ruto’s administration for delivering significant milestones across various sectors, setting the foundation for long-term growth and prosperity in Kenya.
Speaking during his weekly press briefing, Dr. Mwaura outlined the administration's success in implementing transformative initiatives, including the Hustler Fund, Affordable Housing projects, and social welfare schemes such as the Social Health Assistance (SHA) and Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF).
Dr. Mwaura highlighted how millions of Kenyans are now benefitting from enhanced government services, made accessible via the e-Citizen platform. With expanded internet connectivity, including government-sponsored Wi-Fi in markets nationwide, the digital economy has flourished, creating thousands of jobs and boosting livelihoods.
Furthermore, over 200,000 Kenyans have secured international employment opportunities through the Ministry of Labour’s "Kazi Ya Maju" initiative, showcasing the government’s dedication to empowering the workforce and addressing unemployment.
Looking to the future, Dr. Mwaura revealed plans to enhance the education sector by improving salaries for Junior Secondary School (JSS) teachers and increasing the number of trained educators in 2025. He reiterated the administration’s focus on creating opportunities and elevating living standards for all Kenyans.
“As we close the year, the government remains committed to its agenda of transforming lives. We are optimistic about the future and confident that Kenya is on a steady path to prosperity under President Ruto’s leadership,” Dr. Mwaura stated.
