Customers of Nyonjoro Hardware Store in Kitengela are set to benefit from faster and more efficient delivery of construction materials, thanks to the store’s acquisition of a brand-new heavy-duty truck.

The truck, purchased through an asset finance loan from Equity Bank Kitengela Branch, marks a significant milestone in the growth of the family-run business, which specializes in the sale and distribution of cement, timber, steel bars, nails, terrazzo, and door locks.

Speaking at the handover ceremony held outside the bank, Nyonjoro Hardware Director Samuel Njoroge commended Equity Bank for being a trusted partner in the journey to modernize their operations.

“Equity wametembea na sisi kwa hii safari ya kununua hii lori. Tutaendelea kushirikiana na wao ili watu-support kununua lori zingine za kuimarisha hii biashara yetu (Equity has walked with us in acquiring this lorry. We will continue partnering with them to acquire more lorries to strengthen our business),” said Mr. Njoroge. He expressed his ambitions to expand the business’s footprint across East Africa.

Winnie Karani, Business Growth Development Manager at Equity Bank Kitengela Branch, emphasized the bank’s commitment to empowering businesses through accessible financial solutions.

She noted that the enhanced delivery capability would improve Nyonjoro’s sales and bolster the local construction industry.
