The Principal Secretary for Trade and Industry, Dr. Juma Mukhwana, has reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to fostering a favorable investment climate, encouraging Indian investors to explore the country’s expanding opportunities.

Speaking at the Kenya Buildcon Expo 2025 in Nairobi, Dr. Mukhwana highlighted the importance of deepening trade relations between Kenya and India, describing the expo as a critical platform for collaboration, innovation, and economic exchange.

> “This expo brings together key players from both Kenya and India. We welcome Indian investors to create jobs, transfer knowledge, and tap into the immense potential of our local markets,” PS Mukhwana stated.

He emphasized that the government is focused on making Kenya a top destination for investment in manufacturing, infrastructure, and technology, all of which are key sectors represented at the Buildcon Expo.

Dr. Mukhwana assured attendees that Kenya is ready to provide a stable policy environment, competitive incentives, and a youthful, skilled workforce to support long-term partnerships.

The Kenya Buildcon Expo 2025 has attracted participants from over 20 countries, with a strong showing from Indian construction, manufacturing, and real estate firms looking to expand in East Africa.

The PS concluded by calling on Indian companies to “seize the moment and become part of Kenya’s transformation story.”
