Nairobi, Kenya - Kenyans are calling on President William Ruto to take a stand and disassociate the country from a recent UN vote that has sparked widespread outrage. A petition, signed by over 12,000 citizens, describes the vote as an "anti-family, anti-African agenda" and a betrayal of Kenya's Constitution and values.

The campaign director, Kioko, emphasized that it's not too late for Kenya to set the record straight. "We are calling on President Ruto to issue a public statement reaffirming our commitment to our Constitution, our families, and our cultural and moral values," she urged.

Kioko stressed the importance of bold leadership, saying, "The world is watching. The people of Kenya are praying. This is the moment for bold leadership." She concluded by calling on the President to withdraw Kenya's support for the vote, clarify the country's position, and protect the nation's values.

The petition reflects the widespread shock, grief, and anger felt by many Kenyans who see the vote as a threat to their cultural and moral fabric. As the nation waits with bated breath, Kenyans are hoping for a swift response from President Ruto to address their concerns and uphold the country's values.
