 Spoke about the organization's efforts to promote climate justice and amplify the voices of youth and communities directly impacted by climate change. Ogina emphasized the importance of African-centric policies and climate justice, highlighting the disproportionate impact of climate change on the continent.

The Draw the Line Campaign

Green Peace Communication Manager Sherry Gakii emphasize  and spoke while joined by other major stalkholders Oxfarm (K) and The Franciscan Fathers of Justice peace integrity operation.JIPC of Mother Earth Network led by its Director, Fr Francis Mbuvi partnered in sponsoring the campaign's to advocacy that Draw the Line campaign, a global initiative that brings together actors to discuss climate justice and climate issues. The campaign aims to showcase the voices of youth and communities affected by climate change, as they gear up for discussions around COP30.

 is a Christian faith based  organization that fights inequality, particularly in the areas of gender, natural resources, and humanitarian response. The organization's natural resources pillar focuses on climate issues, recognizing the direct impact of climate change on land, livelihoods, and communities.

Call to Action

Oxfam Kenya's call to action is for climate justice, mainstreaming climate issues, and ensuring Africa's place in climate space discussions. The organization is pushing for African-centric policies, led by Africans, to address the disproportionate impact of climate change on the continent. With Africa contributing less than 2% to global pollution but suffering over 90% of the negative impacts, Oxfam Kenya is advocating for climate justice and policy changes that prioritize African needs and perspectives.
