KENYA HIGHLIGHT TO YOUTH NYOTA PROGRAMME
Hon Susan Mangeni Echoes to the youth frontier to Kenyan government to focus on this initiatives to bring closer ties of up coming generations has announced a significant step forward in its youth empowerment program, aimed at equipping young people with skills and providing start-up capital to boost entrepreneurship. The program, which targets youth in various counties, will provide training and funding to support innovative projects and ideas.
Training and Funding
The training program will cover 18 counties, with the disbursement of start-up capital following immediately after the completion of the classroom training. The Principal Secretary, Hon. Susan Mang'eni, emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in the program, assuring the public that the process will be conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
Counties to Benefit
The training will be rolled out in the following counties: Nairobi, Kiambu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nyeri, Murang’a, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Mombasa, Kwale, Kilifi, Tana River, Lamu, Taita Taveta, Marsabit, Samburu, Wajir, Mandera, and Garissa. The program aims to empower youth in these counties with the skills and resources needed to succeed in business.
