Kenya Pledges Support for Vision 100 Initiative

The Government of Kenya has reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the International Memon Organization (IMO) to advance healthcare and community empowerment initiatives in the country. This was stated by the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, during the Global Trustee Rotary International Forum in Nairobi.

Vision 100: A Century of Community Empowerment and Global Unity

The forum, themed 'Inspiring Progress and Preserving Tradition,' brought together leaders to discuss key issues affecting communities worldwide. The event unveiled Vision 100, a initiative aimed at promoting healthcare, housing, education, culture, community empowerment, and sustainable economic growth.

Healthcare at the Centre of Development

In his remarks, Hon. Mudavadi commended Vision 100 for prioritizing healthcare, a key area of focus for the Kenyan government. He emphasized the government's commitment to preventive care, early screening for non-communicable diseases, mental well-being, and protecting families from catastrophic health costs.

Alignment with National Health Agenda

The initiative aligns with Kenya's Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and strong primary healthcare systems. The government is committed to partnerships that translate policy into meaningful community impact.

Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda

Hon. Mudavadi highlighted the 5th Administration's Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which aims to expand access to affordable, equitable healthcare for all Kenyans.

Collaboration and Partnerships

The event was attended by industry leaders, MPs, and dignitaries. IMO leadership, Shahid Yakub and Shemir Yakub, expressed their commitment to working with the government to advance community empowerment initiatives.
