Nairobi, Kenya - In a rousing speech, President William Ruto has urged young Kenyans to seize the moment and lead the country's transformation, telling them that "this is Kenya's moment to rise, dream, and change the world

Addressing students at Kenyatta University's Career Week, President Ruto emphasized that the country is poised to take advantage of the fourth industrial revolution and become a competitive player in the global economy. He highlighted Kenya's efforts to prioritize manufacturing, enterprise development, value addition, and the Buy Kenya, Build Kenya initiative, saying that the country is laying the foundation for inclusive industrial growth.
Africa accounts for nearly 17 percent of the world's population, yet produces less than 3 percent of global manufactured output. This is not an indictment; it is an invitation," President Ruto said, urging young Kenyans to dream big and aim to make a meaningful impact.

The President challenged universities to become engines of innovation, producing creators rather than job seekers, and encouraged young people to rise above fear and comfort to change Africa.
Kenyatta University, I commend you for inspiring young people to think beyond limits and to believe in their power to change the world," he said, quoting Nelson Mandela's famous words: "Education is the most powerful weapon with which to change the world.
President Ruto's message was clear: Kenya is ready to shine, and it's up to the young people to lead the charge.
