 Nairobi, Kenya -Mr Askorm Kimili lead a high powered delegation team for a marging forces In a rousing display of party unity, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) delegates from Nairobi have vowed to rally behind President William Ruto's 2027 re-election campaign, pledging to be the "first line of defense" for the party and the government.
Addressing a press conference, Cnsle,  Aka. (Wakili) Mr Ashkorn Kamili, a UDA delegate from Kibra Contituency Nairobi City  emphasized that the party is strong and ready to take instructions from the president as the country gears up for the upcoming elections. "We are here today to assure the UDA fraternity country-wide that the UDA party in Nairobi is strong and willing to take instructions from the president," Kamili declared.

The delegates expressed confidence in President Ruto's leadership, citing his achievements in affordable housing, national cohesion, and healthcare. They also commended the president's efforts to bring together various political factions and parties, saying it has fostered a sense of unity in the country.

Mr Kamili assured the president that the 340 UDA delegates in Nairobi are "ready for action, ready for movement, and ready to be instructed" to drive the party's agenda forward. The delegates also committed to supporting the president's vision for Kenya's economic transformation, saying they will not be swayed from the path to achieving a first-world economy.

The UDA delegates' show of support comes as the party prepares for internal elections and the 2027 general elections. They urged Kenyans to join the UDA, saying it is the best decision they can make, and assured them that the party is on the right track towards realizing the president's vision for the country
