The United Democratic Alliance has declared a sweeping victory in the February 26, 2026 by-elections, describing the outcome as a decisive endorsement of its leadership and development agenda.
Addressing the press in Nairobi on Friday, Secretary General Hassan Omar Hassan said the results were a clear indication that UDA remains the most popular party in the country.

In Isiolo South, Hon. Tubi Mohamed Tubi won the parliamentary seat. Hon. Eliphas Kainanga, Hon. Duncan Muratia Nyaga and Hon. Peterson Njeru Njiru secured victories in West Kabras, Evurore and Muminji wards respectively.

The Secretary General termed the outcome a clean sweep and a strong signal of sustained public confidence in the party and its leadership. He said the results reflect growing support for UDA’s manifesto and socio economic transformation agenda, which he noted is anchored on inclusivity, dignity and economic empowerment.

He criticised the opposition, accusing it of lacking policy direction and engaging in divisive, rhetoric driven politics. According to the Secretary General, voters rejected what he described as noise without substance in favour of a development focused agenda.

Hassan added that the by election results demonstrate public backing for the implementation of the party’s development blueprint, commonly referred to as The Plan, which he said is aimed at accelerating Kenya’s industrialisation and economic growth.

He thanked voters in Isiolo South, West Kabras, Evurore and Muminji for turning out to exercise their democratic right and for supporting its candidates.
