Nairobi, Kenya – February 27, 2026 The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has issued a triumphant press statement following its emphatic victories in the February 26th by-elections, describing the outcome as a resounding endorsement of its socio-economic transformation agenda.
According to the party’s Secretary General, Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan, UDA candidates secured wins across all contested seats, including Hon. Tubi Mohamed Tubi in Isiolo South Constituency, Hon. Eliphas Kainanga in West Kabras Ward, Hon. Duncan Muratia Nyaga in Evurore Ward, and Hon. Peterson Njeru Njiru in Muminji Ward.
The party hailed the results as a “clean sweep” and a powerful testimony of the trust Kenyans continue to place in UDA leadership and its manifesto, The Plan. The statement emphasized that voters had decisively rejected what it termed “hollow microphone gymnastics” and “policy-free pronouncements” from the opposition, instead choosing a vision of transformation and inclusivity.
UDA framed the victories as part of a broader trajectory toward prosperity, likening its development model to Singapore’s rise from Third World to First World status. The party reiterated its commitment to uplifting livelihoods and communities while dismissing opposition politics as divisive and unproductive.
In closing, the Secretary General expressed gratitude to Kenyans for their confidence in UDA’s leadership, declaring: “Live Long UDA. Live Long Kenya.”
