Veteran golfer Dismas Indiza produced a composed and consistent display to win the third leg of the 2026 PGK Equator Tour at Limuru Country Club, further cementing his status as one of Kenya's most accomplished professional golfers.
Representing Kakamega Golf Club, Indiza finished atop the leaderboard with an impressive aggregate score of 281 (-7 under par) after four rounds of competitive golf.

His victory came after a disciplined performance throughout the tournament, allowing him to fend off a strong field of professionals vying for top honors.
Michael Karanga secured second place with a total score of 283, while Safaricom-sponsored golfer Samuel Njoroge continued his impressive season by finishing third on 285.

Speaking after his victory, Indiza expressed satisfaction with both his performance and the outcome.

I am happy with this win. I am pleased with how I performed and grateful to come away with the victory. This result gives me confidence as I look ahead to the remaining legs of the PGK Equator Tour," he said.
For Njoroge, the podium finish marked another successful outing following his triumph in the previous leg held at Thika Sports Club.

His consistent performances have positioned him among the leading contenders in this year's tour standings.

"I am pleased with my performance today. The competition was tough, but I stayed focused on my game and managed to secure a podium finish. Finishing third is a good step forward for me, and I will continue working hard to improve in the upcoming legs of the PGK Equator Tour," said Njoroge.

The competition remained tightly contested throughout the weekend, with Philip Kasozi finishing fourth on 288, followed by John Lejirma on 289. Veteran golfer Greg Snow placed sixth with 290, while Tainur Malik finished seventh on 291.
