As Kenya intensifies efforts to tackle youth unemployment and expand economic opportunities for its growing young population, 
"Principal Secretary Susan Mang’eni.
 Has emerged as one of the key figures driving transformative change. Through her leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, Mang’eni is helping shape one of the country’s most ambitious social development programmes—the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) Project.

Her dedication was once again evident during the Third Project Implementation Support Mission (ISM), which brought together government agencies, development partners, and representatives from the World Bank Group to review progress, address implementation challenges, and strengthen delivery mechanisms. 

The meeting underscored the importance of ensuring that the NYOTA Project remains on course to reach its target of empowering 820,000 young Kenyans through skills development, entrepreneurship support, and employment opportunities.

"While NYOTA is a collaborative initiative involving multiple stakeholders, 
PS, Susan Mang’eni has become one of its most visible champions, providing the leadership needed to translate policy ambitions into meaningful outcomes for young people across the country. Her focus on accountability innovation, and results has helped maintain momentum behind a programme that promises to transform lives, strengthen communities, and contribute to Kenya’s long-term economic growth.
